Suvi Blomback appointed Acting CEO of LICO Oy

LICO Oy’s CEO, Arto Pitkämö, will step down from his position and join the company’s Board of Directors. He will remain a shareholder and continue to play an active role in LICO Oy’s strategic development.

The company’s current Chief Operating Officer, Suvi Blomback, has been appointed Acting CEO of LICO Oy effective 1 October 2026. Blomback has worked at LICO Oy in various roles for more than 15 years.

The CEO transition will be implemented in a controlled and gradual manner during the remainder of 2026. During the transition, Arto Pitkämö will support Suvi Blomback in assuming the CEO role and ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge relating to key customer relationships, projects and company management. The phased transition will ensure business continuity and thorough onboarding for the new CEO while maintaining the company’s high level of service and continued operational development.

The change is part of LICO Oy’s planned renewal and preparation for its next stage of development.
